Fluorometer Donation Program

Turner Designs developed the Fluorometer Donation Program in an effort to assist non-profit, governmental, and academic institutions in obtaining instruments needed for aquatic research and/or monitoring. We hope our program will assist institutions with limited funding to continue to conduct research and monitoring.
Who can apply?Scientists, researchers, graduate students, and post docs in colleges, universities, and non-profit institutions working in the field of aquatic science.
Not Qualified: Competitors, suppliers, dealers and institutions that have previously received a fluorometer donation. We cannot ship or donate to countries listed on the US trade embargoes list. How often are fluorometers awarded? We will award two AquaFluor Handheld Fluorometer/Turbidimeters each year – one in July and one in December. Application deadlines are June 1 and November 1.
How are recipients chosen? All complete applications will be reviewed by the Donation Committee. After reviewing the research presented on each application form, the committee will select a recipient.
How will I know if we are awarded an Instrument Donation? All applicants will be e-mailed by the end of the award month notifying them if they have or have not been chosen as a recipient. Chosen recipients will be notified via e-mail and will then be instructed on how to complete the process and receive their fluorometer.
