Daniel Goetz of Mississippi State University is the latest recipient of a Turner Designs Student Travel Stipend Award. Daniel will give a presentation at the NALMS International Symposium next month in Madison, Wisconsin titled "The Role of Lake Depth in Regulating Water Quality and Fish Assemblages in Oxbow Lakes of the Yazoo River Basin." Daniel used our AquaFluor Handheld Fluorometer to collect In Vivo Chlorophyll data in the field. 07/2012 - Rebecca Bernard, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, USA
Rebecca Bernard was awarded a Travel Stipend for her presentation titled The Biogeochemistry of Oyster Restoration at the 2012 Ecological Society of America meeting. Rebecca used a TD-700 Laboratory Fluorometer (which was obsoleted when we introduced the Trilogy) to look at Chlorophyll levels as a proxy for microbial biomass.
