Summary
Turner Designs offers team members an attractive,
comprehensive benefit program.
PAID HOLIDAYS
Turner Designs normally observes seven
(7) holidays during the year.
New Years Day
Memorial Day
Fourth of July Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Friday following Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
When one of the above holidays falls on
a Saturday, it normally will be observed on the preceding Friday; if one
falls on Sunday it normally will be observed on the following Monday.
FLOATING HOLIDAYS
In addition to the above holidays, you receive three (3) floating holidays
each year. Two of these floating holidays are used during the winter shutdown
- December 25 through January 1. One of these floating holidays may be
used at employee's discretion. Holidays cannot be carried over to the
next year.
VACATION
Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid vacation time. Vacation
is accrued per pay period starting from your date of hire. Part-time regular
employees are eligible for paid vacation time on a pro-rated basis. Immediately
upon hire, your will earn vacation at the rate of 4.62 hours each pay
period, up to a maximum of 15 days each year. After five years, you will
earn vacation at the rate of 5.39 hours each pay period, up to a maximum
of 17.5 days each year. After seven years, you will earn vacation time
at the rate of 6.16 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 20 days
each year. After 20 years, you will earn vacation time at the rate of
7.70 hours each pay period, up to a maximum of 25 days each year. Part
time regular employees will receive vacation on a pro-rated basis.
Vacation time may be carried over to the
following year up to a maximum of 240 hours for 0 - 5 years of service,
280 hours for 5 - 7 years of service, 320 hours for 7 - 20 years of service
and 400 hours for 20 years of service and over. Employees will be paid
earned but unused vacation
days upon termination.
SICK TIME
Full-time employees are eligible for paid
sick days. Sick time is accrued per pay period starting from your date
of hire.
Eligible employees will earn sick days
at a rate of 2.47 each pay period, up to a maximum of eight (8) days each
year. Employees will not be paid for any unused sick days. However, if
you do not use your sick days during the year, you may carry them into
the following year. The total accrual of sick days may not exceed 30 days
(240 hours). Part-time regular employees accrue sick time on a pro-rated
basis. Employees will not be paid for earned but unused sick days upon
termination.

EMPLOYEE
HEALTH BENEFIT CONTRIBUTION
Health benefit coverage is effective after
30 days of employment. Health benefit contributions for employees electing
medical, dental, and vision coverage is dependent on the plan you choose.
SAVINGS AND RETIREMENT
The Turner Designs 401 (k) Savings and
Retirement plan allows employees to contribute 1% to 100% of your eligible
compensation (not to exceed IRS annual limits) through payroll deductions
into this IRS qualified savings and retirement plan. All eligible contributions
are per-tax.
Eligibility - All employees are
eligible to participate in the 401 (k) plan immediately upon hire.
Employer Matching Contribution -
Salary reductions up to 3% of a Participant's Compensation will be matched
by the Company.
Investments - Diverse list of investment
options to choose from.
Vesting - Employees maintain 100%
vesting in their 401 (k) contributions, rollover contributions, and interest
and earnings on those dollars.
Employer matching contribution is vested
as follows:
1 year of service 33%
2 years of service 67%
3 years of service 100%
PROFIT SHARING
Each year, in which the company achieves
targeted profits, eligible employees will receive a profit sharing check
at the end of November.

The company offers a $1,000 recruitment
bonus for referring a candidate that fills a regular full time or part
time position.

AT WILL EMPLOYMENT
Turner Designs is an "at will employer".
Just as the employee is free to terminate the employment relationship
with Turner Designs at any time, Turner Designs also reserves the right
to terminate the employment relationship with the employee at any time
and for any or no reason. This means that the employment relationship
is at-will since it may be terminated at the will of either the employee
or Turner Designs. Employment and compensation may be terminated or modified
with or without cause and with or without notice by you or by Turner Designs.
Terms and conditions of employment with Turner Designs (except for the
at-will nature of the employment relationship) may be terminated or modified
at the sole discretion of Turner Designs with or without cause and with
or without notice. There is no agreement, express or implied, written
or verbal, between the employee and Turner Designs for any specific period
of employment, for continuing or long-term employment, or for guaranteed
terms and conditions of employment.
